Pacman, the founder of Blast, has personally endorsed the gameplay and demonstrated his support by allocating the 2nd biggest Blast Gold allocation to the project. Read more about the project in the latest edition of SKYGG's Weekly Deep Dive.
A full on-chain game is a blockchain game that stores all its data on the blockchain. (Even though there is ongoing debate about the exact definition.) The Lattice team has played a key role in shaping the narrative and creating an ecosystem for fully on-chain games from the ground up. They have also introduced their open-source on-chain framework, MUD.
Recently, games developed under this standard have been launched and will be featured on the Redstone chain, which is now part of the Optimism Superchain. For more coverage on this topic, check out the latest edition of SKYGG’s Weekly Deep Dive.

This particular trend has traditionally been utilized in the NFT market as a marketing tactic to spark FOMO, particularly popular during bear markets. Moreover, there have been criticisms about this trend being biased towards Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).

After the release of the first episode of AZUKI's animation, the once stagnant floor price of AZUKI has started to show some greens. Moreover, the synergies tied to Anime Chain are attracting interest, prompting a reassessment of an ecosystem that has long been seen as undervalued. This topic is also discussed in this week's SKYGG’s Weekly Deep Dive.
The king has returned! DeGods and y00ts can now bridge to Solana, offering holders the choice to stay on Ethereum or switch to Solana. DeGods has made a powerful comeback on the Solana network, propelling both collections to the forefront of the NFT market in terms of volume. Notably, Cube, a Solana-based exchange, has acquired 43 DeGods and 44 y00ts through a partnership with Delabs.
Blur now supports Blast NFTs, and has been allocated 2 million Blast Gold from the chain. Following a structure similar to past Blur bid farming, this has led top three Blast projects achieving volumes greater than the total of all ETH NFT volumes combined.
However, these instances have involved wash trading, where transactions are conducted solely for accumulating Blast Gold rather than for the intrinsic value of the NFTs. Despite this, the event has sparked renewed interest in the somewhat stagnant Blast chain. Additionally, there are indications of collections considering a shift from ETH NFTs to Blast.
Pudgy Penguins and their IP licensing project Overpass announced a new update. Previously, Pudgy Penguins managed licensing for their own toy business through Overpass, but they have now started offering third-party licensing as well. This enables NFT owners to use the Overpass IP platform to conveniently license their owned NFT IPs to other brands.
An inaugural example of Ocap Games plans to sign 200 IP contracts to develop a card game using the Pudgy Penguin IP. Additionally, it appears that other NFT collections will soon be integrated into the Overpass platform. Such developments suggest the potential to enhance the value and expand the possibilities of owning NFT IPs.
